Dear Friends
Following advice from both the government and the Church of England we have, sadly, had to take the decision to suspend all church services in Christ Church and St Mary's for the foreseeable future. Our clergy team is carefully considering how best to conduct Wedding and Funeral ceremonies on an individual basis. They will be in contact with those who may be affected in the coming weeks.
We intend to broadcast a service each week which can be found on our website.

Throughout the crisis, we hope to keep the building open as usual during daylight hours so that visitors can pray, remember or just enjoy the quiet of our beautiful church. We ask, of course, all those visiting to observe the government advice on social distancing and hygiene to protect both themselves and others. We will be stepping up our cleaning of the church to reduce the risk of infection as much as possible.
If members of the local community are feeling isolated and vulnerable throughout this health crisis and need some practical or spiritual support, or if you know of someone in the community who may need some help, please do get in touch with any member of the staff team or leave a message with the Parish Office (01793 522832) and we will see how we are able to help.
You can also stay in touch on our Facebook or Twitter pages using the links on the home page of the website.
