Introduction to Marriage at Christ Church
It is our great delight to welcome couples for either a traditional marriage service, a blessing of
a civil marriage or a thanksgiving for marriage on a particular anniversary.
Each service is profoundly personal and takes place after due preparation, typically about 3 sessions.
Each year, in January we also hold a group session for all our prospective couples on the theme of
growing together in Love. This explores understanding, communication, sexuality, conflict and spirituality.
Our couples always find these sessions great fun and full of practical wisdom.

Our team at Christ Church is particularly welcoming to those who have been married before and consider,
very seriously, marriage after divorce.
