Floodlighting Christ Church
Christ Church will next be floodlit on 29th Feb 2012.
Interested in floodlighting the church for someone?
Did you know that you can sponsor the floodlighting of Christ Church to mark
a special day or anniversary? For a donation starting at just £30, the church
can be floodlit from 6pm or dusk (whichever is later) until midnight on any
night of the year.
As a romantic gesture, a thank you, a birthday surprise or a poignant
memorial to a deceased family member, sponsoring the floodlighting not only
lights up the Swindon skyline but also supports the the
work of the church.
The spire is a major beacon in the area and can been seen from all over
Swindon. Help us to maintain it and the work of this historic and much loved
church by booking your commemorative event by

by making a cheque payable to "The PCC of Christ Church with St Mary."
You can choose to have a message posted on our website and where
appropriate can have an e-card sent telling the recipient when the church is
to be lit in their name. You can also have your message printed in our parish
magazine.
Gifts such as these enable us to maintain the building for future generations
to enjoy and worship in. If you are a UK taxpayer then, if you allow us, we
can reclaim basic rate tax on your gift. Please take a little time to complete
the Gift Aid declaration section of the form - £30
becomes £37.50 at no extra cost to you.
If you are interested, please print off the form and complete it by hand and
send it to the parish office with your cheque. Cheques should be made out to
"The PCC of Christ Church with St Mary."
