Christ Church Choir            Listen to us sing "Look See and Know"

We have a thriving robed choir of around 20 adult members and 7
juniors.  The adults rehearse on Thursday evenings between 7.30 and 9pm. 
The juniors rehearse on Fridays during term time from 7.30 until 8.30pm.

We sing a huge range of musical styles, from Renaissance polyphony, to
the baroque glories of Purcell and Greene, to Victorian grandeur and
contemporary church music by composers such as John Rutter, Richard
Shephard, and Philip Moore. Listen to what we are singing this month.

The choir is required to sing at the 9.30am communion service each Sunday
and at all 6.30pm services except the second Sunday of the month.  Four
times a year we sing a full choral evensong and we usually visit a cathedral
at least once a year to sing evensong.  Recent visits have included Bristol,
Wells and Salisbury.  Four years ago we released our first CD [Skyline Sounds]
and our second [Skyline Sounds II] was released during Advent 2008.

We are a friendly choir and have various social events during the year.
