Prayer ministry
At the very centre of our life in Christ Church is a belief in the power of prayer to change people's lives.
We provide a variety of services with prayer as their foundation. We hold a Prayer evening on the 2nd Wednesday
of every month either at Christ Church or at St.Mary's - check the service times for this week
here.
We also focus the power of prayer on local and international matters each month with our
Swindon Old Town Partnership Prayer Diary.
We have been asked to provide blessings and pray for everyday things like; home moves, new cars, holidays,
redundancy and new jobs as well as the more fundamental issues of sickness, death and bereavement. If you are
facing a major change in your life and would like some spiritual support then ask us to pray for you then

Each Sunday and throughout the week, we pray for people who have put their names or those of a loved one on
our prayer board in the Church - if you would like someone to be remembered (or yourself) then fill in
this form and we will pray for you.
