Christ Church burial ground

Christ Church's burial ground is a haven of peace and quiet and is the resting place of many generations of Swindonians. Photographs of many of the graves are available on Duncan and Mandy Ball's excellent website and we have draw out a plan of the church grounds to make it easier for visitors to find their way around.

Burial database

We have been experimenting by putting some of our recent burial records online - our database currently contains details of those buried at Christ Church. We have over 7,000 records of burials and commitals of ashes dating from 1907 - 2010. Unfortunately not all the information is available for all the records. If there is no Grave reference number but there is a book number then you may be able to find out more information by contacting the parish office.
