| Peter and Yvonne Glass | Woodley, Reading | We only met Trevor a couple of times, but even in those few moments he emanated that love and care reflected in yesterday's wonderful service. We wish we had known him better, but felt we did in all the amazing and heartfelt tributes to his talents, care, encouragement, fun, and love. Yes a truly charismatic man, but unassuming within his lovely family. We will grieve but not mope as we try to show God's love in the generous way Trevor did. Our prayers for Coby, Anneke and Eden whom we know, and for the rest of the family too. Build your Ebenezers with glee! |
| Alice Kemp | I was so sorry to hear of Trevor’s death and sad that due to having flu I’m also unable to attend the funeral. Trevor was a light in the world, he made me feel welcome in places I felt unsafe, he always brought such joy and hope to life. He will be missed but I am sure will also live on in all of our memories - he will not be forgotten. | |
| Michael Abbott | Leeds, West Yorkshire. | Will always be remembered for his work with children, Nijmegen and good friend. |
| David Gosney | SOUTHAMPTON | I first met Trevor (and his twin brother Michael) first year at Shene Grammar school in 1963. We spent a lot of time in a group and went through school, many scout camps and social gatherings. Trevor and a keen sense of humour and we spent much time rehearsing between ourselves comedy we heard on the radio ("I'm sorry I'll read that again") very popular late sixties. I most remember Trevor for his wacky sense of humour, and ability to mimic, and for his genuine kind nature. Time and distance have kept us apart over the years but he is certainly someone who played a big part in my teenage years. I feel for Coby and the family, separation is hard to bear, but we do know he has gone to a better place. |

Dating back to the 60s when he encouraged me age 6 to join in Sue's birthday party. Continuing with many cheerful chats on the early train to London. Being a welcome addition to the Trustees of the Friends of Christ Church 2008-9. And lots of lovely singing opportunities, particularly the duet "Oh death where is thy sting" in the Swindon Music Festival in 2004.
