Christianity Explored <\/b>\u2013 A very good follow up meeting was held in January and 5 of the 6 attendees are joining the Confirmation group with the 6th<\/sup> a home group.<\/p>\n Bible Study Group <\/b>\u2013 This began very successfully running a five week course on the book of Esther.\u00a0 The group will reconvene on March 1st<\/sup> to study Ecclesiastes.<\/p>\n Partnership Christian Aid Project <\/b>\u2013 \u00a0The launch service on 24th<\/sup> February at Bath Road has been planned and Anna Potts will speak.\u00a0 Margaret reported disappointment in the number of entries for the logo competition.\u00a0 The winner will be announced at the service.\u00a0 Margaret will write a letter to all groups in the three churches asking each group to run a fund raising event to support this project.\u00a0 This project will run until the end of 2013.<\/p>\n Pet Service <\/b>\u2013 this service is now to be included as part of an all age service on 7th<\/sup> July so is not within our remit.<\/p>\n Angel<\/b> Ridge <\/b>\u2013 Norma spoke with Gareth about the best way to contact and meet the people of Angel Ridge.\u00a0 He agreed this was difficult with no central meeting place, however, he suggested a residents\u2019 barbecue on the green by the children\u2019s playground.\u00a0 However, he also felt this would be better organised by residents themselves.\u00a0 He may well do this himself.<\/p>\n Roger will continue to take posters to the surgery to advertise events \u2013 need to take Messy Church poster.<\/p>\n Good Friday <\/b>\u2013 there will be a walk of witness and an open air service.<\/p>\n Neighbourhood Prayer <\/b>\u2013 Martin is to work out a strategy for informing people about this for our next meeting.<\/p>\n Date of next meeting – Tuesday 9th<\/sup> APRIL 2013, 7.30 p.m. in the Parish Office<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Meeting held on 12.2.13 in the Parish Office Present:\u00a0 Norma McKemey, \u00a0Margaret Williams, Angela Wirdnam, Martin Lee, Roger and Maria Morcumb Christianity Explored \u2013 A very good follow up meeting was held in January and 5 of the 6 attendees are joining the Confirmation group with the 6th a home group.
