Psalm 88<\/li>\n<li>The cross and our redemption &#8211; stories of hope through Christ&#8217;s death for us.<\/li>\n<li>Survival and hope &#8211; the persecuted church, carrying their cross almost literally.<\/li>\n<li>Forgiveness and mercy &#8211; the heart of the scriptures &amp; our Christian faith.<\/li>\n<li>Love is his meaning &#8211; how the Spirit leads us to the cross and beyond, to show the love of God in our lives.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2 &#8211; 3pm<\/strong> Children&#8217;s workshop in the <em><strong>Community Centre.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>7pm<\/strong>\u00a0 Holy Week Piano\/Organ Recital, with music by JS Bach, Debussy, Grieg and Demessieux, led by our Director of Music, Tim Eyles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Saturday 15<sup>th<\/sup> April<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Easter Saturday Ramble (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.christchurchswindon.co.uk\/blog\/2017\/03\/easter-eve-ramble-saturday-15-april-2017\/\">details<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li><strong>7pm<\/strong> Easter Vigil Welcoming the Resurrection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Easter Day 16<sup>th<\/sup> April<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>5.30am<\/strong> Dawn Service &#8211; Partnership Easter celebration at <em><strong>Holy Rood on the Lawns<\/strong><\/em> with Godfrey Room preaching.<\/li>\n<li><strong>8am<\/strong> Holy Communion.<\/li>\n<li><strong>9am<\/strong> Holy Communion at<strong><em> St Mary&#8217;s, Commonweal Road<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>10am<\/strong> Family Holy Communion with Easter egg hunt<\/li>\n<li><strong>3.30- 5.30pm<\/strong> Do come and join us to celebrate Easter. \u00a0There will be fun, crafts, songs and worship and, of course, a delicious afternoon tea &#8211; there may even be chocolate :-).<\/li>\n<li><strong>6.30pm<\/strong> Easter Praise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reflecting on the Passion of Jesus, His life, His death and His Resurrection.
