Holy Week and Easter

At the beginning of Passiontide, we are very grateful to Gervin Senior for erecting our Easter sculpture outside Christ Church. The inspiration for this comes for the hill outside Lee Abbey where three large crosses stand permanently to remind us of God’s presence at all times. As with our eco stable a light will shine on the installation during the evenings reminding us of the prayer ‘Lighten our darkness Lord we pray’. In addition, as a staff team we are praying that each of us will be touched by God personally during this poignant Holy Week as we prepare to come out of lockdown. If you would like to meet up to pray at Christ Church, go for a walk together or sit in the Garden of Reflection please let us know.
