The Easter Eve ramble this year is to visit the Crofton Pumping Station on the Kennet and Avon canal (part of the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust).  See http://www.croftonbeamengines.org   The pumping station is scheduled to be “in steam” over the Easter weekend and we plan to see the 1812 Boulton and Watt beam engine working.
