Many of you will be aware that, with some regret we have been forced to dispose of the billiard table that has occupied the corner of the Church centre for many years and has provided much entertainment to the men’s group who meet there on Monday afternoons. It has also over the years served as a buffet table and generally all round useful thing. It has a long and distinguished history and as befits such a heritage, we have negotiated with the National Trust to take it to one of their properties where it will be put to use demonstrating the game of billiards to visitors at Wray Castle in Cumbria. It will be sent on its way sometime in January 2013.

You can find out about it’s next resting place here http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/wray-castle/
